If Tony Blair can apologise for the Potato Famine, then I can certainly be offended on behalf of the Irish when America turns them into Dr. Seuss characters.
Reports were coming into the coffee shop this morning that a bar in town, the Graduate, was serving a green eggs and ham breakfast in honour of St. Patrick’s Day.
Green eggs and ham?
Yeah, it’s Irish.
Great! I’ll take three!

What the fudge was Blair apologising for the potato famine for? Tosser.
There was a comic out last week in which evil demons from underneath Bradford tore off Michael Howard’s head and made Blair kiss it That is all.

Blair actually apologised for the Potato Famine in 1997, but everyone was reminded of his apology recently when he apologised to the Guildford Four.
He still, of course, has not apologised for the one big thing that he has been responsible for.
What’s the comic about the disembodied head of Michael Howard? Where can I find pictures online?

May I proudly mention that the Dr. Seuss collection is kept at Geisel Library (named after Dr. Seuss himself) at UCSD, my (and Peter’s) alma mater?
A floating head of Michael Howard is a scary thought, in more ways than one.

Ros, at the time you posted, I was not online. I think I was at work. Why did you want to know?
Tom, I think Peter mentioned something to me about Dr. Seuss. Why was UCSD honoured with his work? Was he an alumnus, or did they just stump up a big wad of cash?
